Why the name?
tulaa means "balance" in sanskirt. something I'm focused on and trying to achieve in this fast past world while keeping my interests dynamic and ever growing. balancing life as a mom to a 16 month old and a baby due in 4 weeks while building my own consulting business and managing our new home (getting settled, etc) requires some balance.
my goal has been to find balance - do all the things i love - but have balance in them all.
Why this blog?
So my blog, tulaa somehow, is the realization that through daily writing, posting, exploring and finding, I can centralize all these thoughts into one spot and hopefully, somehow, use this as a tool to help me in my balancing act.
Somehow with all the hype around blogging and how my work (and now life) seem to be integrated and blurred more and more by the blogosphere, I thought I should just jump in here and start a stream of conscious for myself to capture all these random thoughts, finds, ideas, hopes and lists that I keep building and maintaining in excel (a holdover from corporate life for sure).
So, I'm diving in, hoping to transcribe and have a place to archive ideas I like, news, thoughts, aspirations and fun finds. With so many places to explore - this will be my little holding ground.
